What is your order lead time?

For Curbside delivery orders, you can expect to receive your furniture around 6-8 weeks after placing your order. For White Glove delivery orders, current lead time is 12-18 weeks.

Can I get a custom size?

Yes, indeed! We can do any table length you want, up to 94 inches. Our table widths come in two standard sizes (36 inches or 40 inches) and we are now able to provide custom widths up to 40 inches wide. We also sell extensions for tables, which can add 20 inches to each table end (which means an extra 4 people).

How do I order a custom size?

Just select the size option one size up from your custom table length requirement, when adding your table to the cart. For example, if you want a 74 inch long table, with our standard width of 40 inches, then you would select the 82x40 inch size option. After you’ve placed your order, drop us an email stating your order number, and the custom length size you would like for your table. We will then confirm in writing that we’ve received your custom request. If you’d like to chat all this through before placing your order we’d be more than happy to help you out. Please contact us with any questions.

Can I confirm colors later?

Yes you can! We know that color choice can take some time to get right, so we give you a 'choose my color later' option on the product pages as part of the color option choices. If you select this option, we'll be in touch with you to get your final color choice, right before we get to the painting stage (we'll usually contact you 1-2 weeks after your order).

Do you sell farmhouse chairs?

We do not currently offer farmhouse chairs to U.S. customers, but are working hard on returning them to our U.S. website within the next year. If you are looking for a seating option to go with your table, we recommend taking a look at our benches that are made to match your table top style, and like the tables, their legs can be painted in any color you want.

What care and maintenance is required?

We supply the Rustic Oak table table top with 3 coats of Hardwax oil. You won't need to do anything for a while, just wipe clean with a damp cloth. We also supply full care instructions along with your table.

Can I put hot plates and cups on the surface?

Yes, the finish is extremely robust. Please refer to our care notes for more information.

What wood do you use for the table tops?

All wood we use is FSC certified. The FSC certification is considered the 'gold standard' designation for wood harvested from forests that are responsibly managed, socially beneficial, environmentally conscious, and economically viable. Our tables are made from solid European oak or reclaimed pine.

Do you do table extensions?

Yes, you can add two 20 inch extensions to your table to cope with additional family and friends for those special occasions. Learn more about our table extensions HERE 

Do you do unpainted tables?

Not yet - as the materials used for the bases are different from the table top options we provide. We are bringing out an all oak option very soon. Watch this space!

Do I have to use Farrow and Ball Paint?

For U.S. orders we only use Farrow & Ball colors. We use real Farrow & Ball paint, and do not color match from other brands of paint.

What is your return policy?

If there’s a problem with your order, we are committed to making it right. If within 14 days of receiving your order, you decide you don’t like it, we’ll take it back, provided it has not been made to a custom size. For buyers remorse returns, you will have to cover the return shipping costs, plus a restock fee. Please see our return policy for more details.

Where is my furniture coming from?

We make all of our tables to order, in our Devonshire workshop in the heart of the English countryside. We have trusted sales contacts in the USA who handle our customer service, and our white glove delivery partner is based in New York.

When will I know my exact delivery date?

For the curbside delivery option, you will be notified as soon as your furniture leaves our workshop in the UK, at which time you will receive full tracking information. If you have chosen the white glove delivery option, we'll send you an email when your items have been released from our workshop and into the safe hands of our white glove delivery provider. You will be contacted by them directly to arrange a specific delivery date that is convenient for you. Depending on your location within the U.S, this may be 1-4 weeks prior to the actual delivery.

What exactly does Curbside Delivery mean?

Curbside delivery means you will need to bring the packages inside your home, remove the packaging and assemble the furniture yourself. Our assembly is wonderfully simple and we provide full instructions.

What does White Glove delivery include?

White glove delivery includes in-home placement and furniture assembly, plus packaging removal by a professional team of furniture delivery experts. ‘White glove’ means that no lifting or carrying is required by you. White glove delivery does not include removing old or unwanted furniture from your home.

Which furniture comes with color options?

All of our farmhouse tables and benches currently have the option for painted legs and frames. Take a look at our extensive color choices to find the perfect match for your interior color scheme.  

How do I add my chosen color to my order?

First, please identify the name of the Farrow & Ball color shade that you want to use.

Next, on the product ordering page, we have provided our most popular color choices as options you can select.

If you don't see your color choice in these options, then select 'enter a custom color' which allows you to type in your color choice.  

Can I choose my color after I order?

Yes you can! We know that color choice can take some time to get right, so we give you a 'choose my color later' option on the product pages as part of the color option choices. If you select this option, we'll be in touch with you to get your final color choice, right before we get to the painting stage (we'll usually contact you 1-2 weeks after your order).

Can I update or change my color choice?

It depends! The good news is that painting is the last stage in production, so if you let us know of a color change within 1-2 weeks of placing your order, we can generally accommodate any last minute color change requests.

If we've already applied your color choice to your table or benches, and we have not already shipped your items, then we can make a color change, but a repainting charge of $200 will be applied.  

If your order has already shipped, we won't be able to make any change to colors.

What if I don’t like the color when it arrives?

Please take a little extra time to make sure the color you are ordering is the right color for your space and surrounding color scheme. While we do accept returns due to a change of heart in color choice, there will be a restocking fee applied and you will need to cover the cost of return shipping to our workshop in Brooklyn, NY.

We try to make sure that the color swatches you see on our website are a close representation of the colors in real life, but we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy. Depending on your screen settings, colors may appear slightly different in person. Colors can also appear different when viewed under different lighting conditions such as natural daylight, or artificial lighting sources in the home.

To be more certain of eventual color appearance, we highly recommend ordering a Farrow & Ball color card so you can see the colors in person before deciding on your final color.
